General Rental Conditions for Tourist Accommodations Escalacenter sl
Reservations
Reservations must be made by paying 40% of the rental price (with a minimum of €100) within a 72-hour period. After this period, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
The remaining payment will be due upon key collection on the day of your arrival.
Security Deposit
Upon arrival, you will be asked for a security deposit. The amount will vary depending on the accommodation (€300/€500). We will arrange an appointment before your departure to inspect the facilities and return the security deposit.
Tourist Tax
According to Decree 5/2012 of March 20, a tax is mandatory and payable upon arrival. The fee is 1€ per day per person over 16 years of age, with a maximum stay of 7 days.
Arrival-Departure
Upon arrival, keys will be handed over at the Escalacenter offices between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Sundays and holidays are subject to availability.
Any arrival after 7:00 PM must be notified as soon as possible and may incur additional charges.
On the day of departure, the property must be vacated by 10:00 AM and the keys returned to the agency. The property must be left clean and tidy.
Services not included
The rental price does not include bed linen, bath towels, kitchen towels, or final cleaning.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, you must notify us in writing by email. Once received, you will receive a cancellation form that must be completed and sent back. Escalacenter will refund your reservation based on the date of the email notification.
Cancellation of a reservation will result in the following penalties:
- Up to 60 days before the check-in date, 10% of the deposit plus €80 cancellation fees.
- Between 59 and 30 days before the check-in date, 50% of the deposit plus €80 cancellation fees.
- Less than 30 days before the check-in date, 100% of the deposit.
In the event that, for unforeseen reasons not attributable to Escalacenter (fire, flood, sale, etc.), the accommodation cannot be occupied, Escalacenter reserves the right to replace the reserved accommodation with another of similar or superior characteristics or, if the client prefers, to refund the amounts paid.
Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the accommodations.
Stay
Occupancy of the accommodation is limited to the maximum number of people indicated in the contract.
Upon arrival, you will have 24 hours to report any damage or problems you may encounter.
The tenant(s) agree to abide by the rules of the condominium, especially those related to the use of the pool and common areas.
Special clause for drought situations
The measures to manage water shortages in the territory agreed upon by the Generalitat de Catalunya and/or other competent public authorities will be mandatory for both contracting parties. In compliance with regulations, services may be affected and cannot be carried out normally, without any compensation being payable.
Data Protection
In compliance with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), we inform you that the personal data contained in this documentation has been collected from the contacts you have had with ESCALACENTER staff and incorporated into the file owned by ESCALACENTER sl, referred to as the client, whose processing is the responsibility of the entity, with registered office at PASEO DEL MAR 4 (Girona). Its purpose will be to manage contractual relationships (purchases, sales, rentals, deposits, etc.) and commercial relationships, corresponding collections and payments, as well as the sending of commercial and/or advertising information about our products and services. This data will be stored for possible future commercial relationships. Signing this document constitutes consent for such processing.
